What should you expect on the CAMA Cruise?
I have been getting some feedback from folks saying that they feel like they may not be comfortable attending an overtly "Christian" event. I wanted to address this and let people know that this event is open to people of all faith backgrounds to attend. In the past we've had folks from a really wide variety of faith backgrounds both Christian and non Christian all come together to share fellowship. I feel that if we were in any way exclusionary we wouldn't be following the teachings of Christ.
If you come to the CAMA Cruise, you will meet some wonderful people from all backgrounds, learn about some affiliate opportunities from Christian companies, have a great meal (which we'll ask a blessing over) and share some awesome networking/fellowship and site seeing with a relaxed vibe. There is plenty of time over the next 3 days to be busy and frantic :)
I promise there will be no preaching by anyone but affiliate managers flaunting their programs :)
God Bless and see you in Boston.
Wade Tonkin
President - CAMA
The ABestWeb Coupon is functional again. If you are coming from ABestWeb, the promo code available there will work from now through August 7th. I'm sorry if the code expiring caused any inconvenience.
If you have any issues, please email me.
Early Bird pricing has ended on tickets for the CAMA Cruise 2008 but there are still some coupons out there that can save you a few bucks. I am getting super excited for this event as it looks like it will be another great fellowship event with an awesome group of affiliate industry folks. Networking really is the key to Affiliate Summit and if you are looking to add another block of networking time to your schedule, and especially one that is positive and uplifting, consider the CAMA Cruise.
Due to a little glitch in the Standard Price tickets not being activated, we've extended the Early Bird Pricing for one more day. You can still register for $50 through midnight Pacific Time today 8/17/2008
Ticket sales are taking off! I'd encourage people to get in on this sooner than later as tickets are limited and will go fast. Need reasons to go? Here is more feedback from past CAMA event attendees:
"The CAMA Brunch in Las Vegas was a great way to start an
always jam packed Affiliate Summit. Wade did a great job organizing a
venue where there is plenty of time to do some
powerful networking, enjoy some fantastic food and walk away energized
and motivated for the show. It’s now a new tradition during every
Affiliate Summit starting with the Boston CAMA
Cruise!" -Ian Larsen - IanLarsen.com
More awesome feedback on CAMA events and the CAMA Cruise:
"The CAMA brunch has traditionally been THE Sunday morning event before Summit where you can count on seeing people both new and old to the industry. It is a nice, informal affair that is very welcoming." Brook Schaaf - Schaaf Consulting/AffiliateDinner.com
"I just wanted to tell you what a great experience that I had at the CAMA Gospel Brunch at Affiliate Summit 2008 in Las Vegas. First off, I made several new key contacts that I just wouldn’t have made any other way. I’ve got business going with at least two of them buy more importantly, friendships began here that will last a lifetime. On top of that, I had an excellent meal and I really loved the music. All in all, it was an exciting way, with just the right spirit, to kick off three days of really great networking. I must have told a hundred people about the Gospel Brunch and I would recommend it to anyone. I’ll never miss your events again, and I wish you all the success in the future. All the best!" Dennis Dailey, Business Development TheUseful
Some feedback from attendees and sponsors of the last CAMA Event - a Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues in Las Vegas:
"I want to thank Wade Tonkin and the CAMA for Gospel Brunch at Affiliate Summit. It was great to get together with other Believers, be inspired by the great music and enjoy a good meal. With a very hectic schedule for the conference, Gospel Brunch was a fantastic way to kick things off!" - Joel Comm, www.JoelComm.com
"OneNetworkDirect is excited to participate in the CAMA cruise. The cruise brings together thought leaders, away from the hustle and bustle of the Affiliate Summit exhibit hall, to enjoy a delicious brunch, industry conversations and networking opportunities. Our participation in the CAMA cruise is an important part of our commitment to bringing the best solutions to affiliate marketing." Theresa Miller, Corporate Events Manager, Digital River, Inc.
"The CAMA events are always well done, exciting and fun. When I'm in town and they are holding an event I am always one of the first to buy a ticket. The boat trip at the Affiliate Summit in Boston event is something I'm very much looking forward to attending." Jim Kukral - JimKukral.com/Affiliate Summit Emcee
Ticket sales for the CAMA Cruise have kicked off and we're looking forward to seeing everyone in Boston - This is going to be an awesome event with networking and fellowship that are second to none. If the quality of folks on the Cruise is anything like the quality of the Gospel Brunch attendees at Summit West, it will be a dynamite event.
